And there I was about to answer comments made by my buddy Ed Brill...when I discovered this gem. David Hasselhoff defeated communism as well as bringing us Pamela Anderson. Speaking to German magazine TV Spielfilm, Hasselhoff said in 1989, the year the wall fell, he had helped reunite the country by singing his song 'Looking for Freedom' among millions of German fans at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin...."I find it a bit sad that there is no photo of me hanging on the walls in the Berlin Museum at Check-Point Charlie." Now if only the Democrats would nominate him...

I know there's lots going on at the moment. The Hutton Report is due tomorrow, the American elections have kicked off (lets hope they can count properly this time) and Mars is getting more visitors than the Natural History Museum. However it's the weather that amuses me at present, well actually the medias surprise that it might actually snow in the UK. Guys...hello! If you rememeber it's currently winter in Blighty and on occasion frozen water crystals fall from the sky, hey sometimes it can even get below zero. Maybe this Global Warming thing has some substance to it, if as it seems snow has become a novelty in the UK.
